- 10 participants ranging from the age 16 – 30, learning the basics of upcycling using jean jackets in a two-day workshop

The Original Smiths is an online vintage and retro clothing store in Toronto. We promote local artists by showcasing their individual styles and personalities through our clothing.
As owner of The Original Smiths, my role is broad and ever-changing. My major responsibilities include:
• Garment Construction: I use my creative skills to design new styles andsource garments that match my vision
• Business Development: I identify marketing opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to grow the business
• Marketing: I provide ideas for content, lead marketing strategy, and develop creative campaigns (such as flea market campaigns and artist promotions)
• Outreach: I connect with local artists to identify opportunities for collaboration
• Workshops: Organize and facilitate art upcycling workshops in Toronto and GTA
